The Brvtalist Premieres: obwigszyh - phate188 (EXILES)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from obwigszyh. “phate188” comes off the Hungarian artist’s new album, Personal Data, out today on Budapest-based label EXILES. The album is a tremendous work of ambient and left field techno experimentations which was created during isolation. In addition, each track comes with its own artwork and the narrative told by the artists represents different focal points of time and space. “phate188” is a transcendent piece of futuristic electronics that sounds like a soundtrack to another time. From the artist:

The tracks on the album are focal points of my period of isolation, which I spent in Esztergom. Personal Data is the result of two months in which I had very low amounts of musical stimulus and human interaction. Physically, almost nothing. In addition to the energy and mood fluctuations of the material, abstract and rhythmic themes alternate each other.

Personal Data is out July 17th, 2020 on CD and digital formats. Get yours now on Bandcamp.

Rebel Yell - Pump *Video Premiere*

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from Rebel Yell. “Pump” ft. Marcus Whale is off the artist’s new album, Fall From Grace, out July 10th on Rice Is Nice. This is Australian artist Grace Stevenson’s sophomore LP and we’ve been enjoying her vision of anti-club, club music since first hearing the album. Made up of 11 pulse pounding and dance floor ready tracks, Stevenson tackles her own vulnerabilities and sets hard grooves to soft themes for a fresh sound that defies techno genres. “Pump” is one of our favorite tracks on the album and the DIY video is a crisp, infectious anthem for summer.

Fall From Grace is out tomorrow and has quickly become one of our favorite releases this season. You can get yours + some great merch now on Bandcamp.
