The Brvtalist is proud to premiere the debut track by Los Angeles-based Passing. Comprised of Christopher Myrick (Bestial Mouths) and Blair Minor (Make U Hot), Passing combines elements of minimal synth, post-punk and ebm to create a wonderfully dark, cutting sound that can still find its home on the dance floor. The duo's bass heavy, distorted beats are influenced by British Murder Boys, Fad Gadget, The Hacker, Silent Servant, In Trance 95 and the spaces in between. Using analog hardware and chaotic sampling, Myrick's vocals are occasionally audible. A debut EP is planned for release in Winter 2015 and US and European tour dates will follow. We are honored to bring you their first track, "Distance", and look forward to hearing more material.
