The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Younger Than Me. The Berlin-based, Italian artist is set to deliver "The Golden Age Of Love", to be released on 90's Wax this coming March 2024. The record is the perfect example of the breadth of his irrepressible and unique sound. Featuring collaborations with Massimiliano Pagliara, Brame & Hamo and Pablo Bozzi, Younger Than Me has become known for a modern interpretation of '90s club music' - a dynamic blend of Progressive House, Trance, EBM, Breakbeat, and Techno ideas. This first album is a love letter to a deep-rooted passion for the idiosyncrasies of rave culture and the crossover points with contemporary electronic music. Today we premiere this great one with Brame And Hamo and we are also excited to present a Q&A with the artist which you can read below.

The Brvtalist: "The Golden Age Of Love" is one hell of a title for your debut LP. What is the story behind this?
Younger Than Me: The Golden Age Of Love" marks a significant shift for me, transitioning from dancefloor-oriented EPs to my first full-length album. In this exploration of the modern electronic landscape, I've maintained my nostalgic affinity for 90s sounds. The album comprises 9 tracks across two physical LPs, accompanied by 4 digital bonus tracks. The three-year wait for this release has allowed my sound to naturally evolve.
TB: We welcome you back to the site having spoken before about your collaboration with Curses (Y2C), with your collaborations you have explored a wide range of electronic sounds. How does "The Golden Age Of Love" differ in its sound and approach from your past projects?
YTM: This album represents a departure from my previous dancefloor-focused work, delving into diverse realms of modern electronic music. While embracing new sonic territories, I haven't lost touch with my fondness for the 90s sound that defines my artistic identity.
TB: Each record has its unique journey. Could you describe a particularly memorable or challenging moment during the production of "The Golden Age Of Love"?
YTM: The extended timeframe for creating "The Golden Age Of Love" allowed for a substantial evolution in my sound. As an artist, I believe in the necessity of continual growth and evolution. Although the album doesn't entirely encapsulate my current sound, but my touch is unmistakable on each track.
TB: The label 90s Wax carries a certain ethos and aesthetic. Do you feel it is important toget that strong idea across with your releases?
YTM: The 90s Wax label, with its distinct ethos and aesthetic, served as a fitting platform for this release. Aligning my music with the label's identity enhances the overall experience for listeners, creating a cohesive narrative that resonates with my artistic vision.
TB: Are there any new genres or musical styles / ideas you experimented with on this LP that you hadn't explored before?
YTM: This LP encompasses a sonic journey, with each track bearing my unmistakable signature. While some compositions may still resonate with my current sound, the album, as a whole, reflects the evolution and constant quest for new sonic landscapes
TB: Collaboration seems to be a significant aspect of your music. How did these collaborations come about and contribute to the overall sound of your LP?
YTM: Collaborations on "The Golden Age Of Love" have been instrumental in enriching the album's diversity. The shared creative vision and mutual respect with each collaborator contributed to the eclectic and layered nature of the sound. The collab with Massi is more disco oriented with the YTM acid inside. With Brame & Hamo is more my stuff , really 90’s progressive vibes. Last with Pablo I think is the perfect clean from our two styles.
TB: How do you see your debut LP fitting into or challenging current trends within the club scene?
YTM: Is an album, not need to challenge with the current music trends, it’s the retrospective of the artist. I have a lot of eps upcoming and already done that are more challenging the trends :)
TB: Reflecting on your journey so far, how do you feel your artistic identity or vision has evolved or changed?
YTM: Reflecting on my artistic journey, the album signifies growth and evolution. Embracing vulnerability and authenticity has allowed me to trust my instincts and push creative boundaries.
TB: It's been great to have you back and we will keep supporting you! What's next for Younger Than Me? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations that you're particularly excited about?
YTM: Grateful for the continued support, my upcoming projects include an EP on Skylax Records featuring remixes by two exceptionally talented and young artists I admire. Mahkina, a Mexican artist, and Greg, an incredible French talent – both bring a fresh perspective to the table. I?m working also with Maruwa 4 hands, you’ll see soon :) !
