The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere the new music video for “Blind” from Komrads. The Rochester Industrial/EBM/synthpunk based artist Zachary Burnett delivers the massive LP The Wolf on the established label Negative Gain, out August 20th. Diving head first into a relentless dystopian electronics landscape, The Wolf is the sum of Komrads’ progress from experimenting with darkwave and post-punk to a fleshed out industrial/EBM machine, powered by punk energy with gothic aesthetics.

Words from Zach about his new music video:

“The inspiration for Blind is the over stimulation I feel from being so attached to my phone and social media it sometimes makes me want to pluck out my eyes.The video I was inspired by obscure house and techno music videos that would have been on mtv in the early hours of the morning in the late 80s/early 90s. Also I’m a huge fan of film and I reference film often in my lyrics and visuals. The name of my project and some of the first verse of this song are inspired by both Wayne’s World movies. I just channeled that comedic influence through a darker lense.”
