The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from ORACLE666. "Dissociative State" comes off the new album, TIMEBENDER, forthcoming from the Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist. Inspired by holograms, Eastern European folklore, and underground internet art communities, Julia Sinelnikova aka ORACLE666 works across mediums to create immersive worlds. The artist's work is about drifting into the liminal space between real and surreal, floating through ethereal pastel clouds, and dreaming future memories.
Since launching their ethereal trance pop act, ORACLE666 has been booked to DJ an opening set at Wynwood Pride's Charli XCX show in 2021, as well as a lead performer in the Holorealmz Dome at All Day I Dream Festival 2022. In 2023 they performed live at the West Chelsea Festival of Art (NYC), TV Eye (NYC), and Satellite Art Show (Miami Beach, Art Basel week). They previously co-lead organized Bushwick Open Studios festival for five years starting in 2009, through which they launched and curated Seeking Space(s), now an ongoing annual exhibition. In 2013 they organized and performed at the Bushwick Electronic Music Showcase as Nanohumans, alongside Octo Octa at the then new Bossa Nova Civic Club. They run several curated art and music showcases such as New York Times reviewed CHASM.nyc, as well as more recently, Lunar Waves. In 2023, they were recognized with Audiofemme's The Agenda grant to help develop their music.
