The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from HE VALENCIA. An American DJ, producer, theorist and historian, Aloiso Wilmoth was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, and has been active in the North American and global dance music scenes since 2008. Through techno, Wilmoth explores the long legacy of black dance music alongside political and diasporic questions. Wilmoth performs under the pseudonym HE VALENCIA, and also offers cultural commentary and critique through his side project, the popular Instagram account @moma.ps5. The artist is an important voice in the dance music community and we are thrilled to host this massive set of techno that only HE VALENCIA can provide.
