The Brvtalist is proud to present the premiere of Men + Machine Hybrid Live. The musical project of Daniel Ágoston - Hungarian DJ, producer, music selector and writer, who was born in the ‘80s, and got addicted early to post-industrialism, cyberpunk, futurism and neon lights. With the sounds of Industrial Music, EBM, Metal, Post-Punk, Darkwave and Techno, he creates a world between the years he was born and the days he lives in. A world where passion, sorrow, dreams and violence are transformed into musical aesthetics.
It has never been entirely clear whether the name "Man + Machine" represents one or more individuals. This deliberate uncertainty is further extended with "Men + Machine", which is the hybrid/live version of the project. Performed on stage with co-producer and collaborator, Barnabas Horvath aka Barnsz (hence the usage of the plural form of their stage name), The Men + Machine project takes a slightly different musical direction than what the audience has come to know from solo DJ sets. It's much more experimental, slower, and boundary-pushing – yet equally extreme and self-determined. Today we are thrilled to present their first performance which represents an improvised a hybrid set, previewing the sound and lineup in this powerful clip.
