This coming weekend, from January 23 - January 25,  The Brvtalist and artist Farron Loathing invade the San Francisco Bay Area for a weekend of music, food, drink and of course, brvtality. With so much going on, it felt like a post covering everything should be prepared. Here's the Brvtal Picks for the WKND: 

January 23rd - Death Crush Oakland 

What better way to kick off the weekend than with a night of DEATH METAL? On Friday, Oakland's The Golden Bull will play host to an incredible lineup of bands that include NY's Mutant Supremacy, Oakland's Apocryphon,  Dimesland and Negative Vortex. Friends of The Brvtalist are playing in Apocryphon so this is much anticipated. 

January 24th - Discipline 

Saturday night will see us in the city for Discipline at The Elbo Room .  Kerri Lebon and Matt Shapiro welcome NYC's Cult of Youth, on the San Francisco stop of their Final Days Tour. Support comes in the form of L.A. favorite Hive Mind, Skander and Ning Nong, in a special west coast appearance. Stellar lineup of post industrial, experimental, noise and more. 

January 24 - ??? Icee Hot Farewell Party 

Icee Hot has become somewhat of a legendary San Francisco party with some of the biggest names in dance music coming through. Sadly, the party comes to an end this weekend, but not with out a huge farewell. The "28 Hour" party at Public Works just keeps getting better and better with Andy Stott added, Robert Hood, Joey Anderson and much much more. This will be a two day event so bring your stimulant of choice and bid them adieu. 

January 25th - RS94109

If you're ready to go straight from the Icee Hot party into something more intimate, then stop by the incredible record shop RS94109 on Sunday afternoon for special DJ sets from Kerri Lebon and Ning Nong. 

Weekend Provisions - Alchemy Bottle Shop 

Oakland's Alchemy Bottle Shop is a relative newcomer to the retail scene but there is no better place to fuel up on the finest spirits, bitters and more. The right drink choices will be essential this weekend and Alchemy has you covered. Also pick up some Bitter Tears Cocktail Bitters for after meals and for at home craft cocktails.
