Auspex - Ars Goetia (OATH)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Auspex. The Brooklyn-based DJ and producer returns to OATH for a follow up to last year’s label debut with The Lesser Key Of Solomon, a powerful EP with furthers the artist’s ever evolving industrial and techno sound. Using field recordings from an isolated New York City, Auspex then infused his collection into seething, menacing tracks of floor destruction with an undercurrent of the sacred and forbidden, obviously inspired by one of the world’s most notorious tombs of demonology. Today we present, “Ars Goetia”, one of our favorite tracks which masterfully hits peak time energy.

The release is out December 17th. Visit OATH to learn more and pick up the release.

DJ Deep - Fosph *Video Premiere* (Tresor Records)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from DJ Deep. The legend returns to Tresor with his new EP Fosph, his first release on the label since 2015. In the time between then and now, the Deeply Rooted boss has been particularly active, from b2b DJ sets with Jeff Mills, his work as part of the duo Sergie Rezza, to his newly released jazz-house remixes of Cotonete. Listening to his mixes, which regularly spin from essential Chicago and Detroit house sounds, through blends of Afro-percussion and dub reveals an ear sensitively tuned to the ground searching stories through music.

11xxx27 - Oblivion Ft. Mystics (Infidel Bodies)

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new track from 11xxx27. “Oblivion” ft. Mystics comes off the excellent new release, Black Market, out on longtime Brvtalist favorite Infidel Bodies. For this offering, the Italian artist presents a dense mix of noise/ambient textures and hints of primordial electronic sounds which give birth to an EP with a strong isolationist and reflective character towards the current technological domination. Using field recordings, samplers, synthesizers and sound processing, 11xxx27 conjures powerful and meditative works which reveal the terrifying dominance of global technologies. Today we present “Oblivion” which possesses an ominous atmosphere ushering in a new decline.

The release is out on digital and limited cassette on December 21st. Get yours now on Bandcamp.
