Hålbå - Living Is Overrated (LXVIII)

Stoked to share Hålbå's new track "Living Is Overrated”, out on LXVIII. Alessio Barbuzza aka Hålbå makes his debut on LXVIII with "Unknown Faiths", a powerful and extraordinary EP which is best described as a "cathartic experience". Dense drones, harsh noises, and eccentric drums present the admirable skills on display that paint a picture of the artist having full control of his own art.

New Brvtalism No. 251 - Slave To Society

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Slave To Society. The new solo project of Andrew Bowen (AnD / Shadows), it’s been a personal favorite since blasting onto the scene last year. Exploring the extremities of the hardcore sound, the project is about the amalgamation of industrial and experimental noise music mixed with electronic rhythms from techno to jungle. New Brvtalism No. 251 puts this all on display with a crushing, tempo changing, genre traversing mix unlike anything else.

Lokier - Inside Lies (AREA Z)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track by Lokier on AREA Z. The Mexican artist built her identity around Techno, EBM, Industrial and Electro combined with Trance, New Wave and its varieties. Today we premiere “Inside Lies” that comes off the new EP “Uncanny Valleys”, a compilation that features great EBM-Techno artists such as SARIN, Imperial Black Unit, IV Horsemen, Velvet May, Incendie, Chrome Corpse, Unconscious, Celldöd, Chainbreakers and Teatre.

This compilation series is related to the theory introduced by Japanese robotitian Mori Masahiro back in 1970, referring to the paradoxical perception of the existing similarities between a robot and human beings.

The release is out today digitally + textile format on Bandcamp.

Llimbs - Oblivion (Voidance Records)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere “Oblivion” by Llimbs. Tumultuous beats immersed with obscure ritualistic soundscapes. “Descending Void” is a 5-track EP on Voidance Records (Berlin), marking the versatile character of Llimbs project. The opening tracks, “Oblivion” and “Mass”, boldly pronounce Llimbs more abrasive aspect, carved through rhythmic broken beats, ominous chanting and sharp industrial textures. The following three tracks have a more experimental approach, with Side B composed of noisy ambiences and slow heavy rhythms.

The release is out out on October 19th on digital + a set of marbled vinyls and an exclusive bonus track for the first 100 limited edition copies of this release. Pre-order now on Bandcamp.

Kontravoid - Undone *Video Premiere*

The Brvtalist is proud to present the music video premiere of “Undone” by Kontravoid. Originally from the EP on Fleisch, Kontravoid releases a new video for the track directed by Alexandra Soko. This version of the track comes from the recent album “Live From The Void”.

The plot of the video is inspired by the legends and spirits that exist amongst the ruins of a church in a 19th century estate near St. Petersburg. This is a fantasy about the invisible creatures living around us outside of time and space, who influence the events of a person's life while striving to inform them of something important. Undone is about the thread that connects people through the centuries.

You can buy the digital album + merch now on Bandcamp.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Nordstaat - Rods From God

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Nordstaat. The anonymous artist has quietly been one of our favorite producers as of late mixing black metal atmospheres with industrial techno rhythms. “Rods From God” is the first track off Telecorrupter, the artists forthcoming release which renders the interference of rituals and technological processes audible. The EP is another push towards uniting the unequal genres that inspire the project - manifesting techno. For us this is a near perfect blend of different ideals which coalesce to form pure dance floor destruction.

Out October 14th on digital and cassette formats. Order yours now on Bandcamp.
