The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from Esther Duijn. “Deity (Scalameriya Remix)” comes off the first release from Berlin’s Gegen. After relentlessly throwing some of the most infamous parties in the world, Gegen now presents something more tangible and immortal with their first vinyl release. Gegen001 sees friends and residents of the club deliver industrial, techno, acid and rave sounds which will have you awake until the early morning hours.

Today we present a video by Kalma for the A2 track from resident Esther Duijn. Scalameriya reinterprets Duijn’s original with a blend of futuristic sound design and shape-shifting grooves. The B-side features an industrial anthem by Ayarcana with a scorching remix from club resident LɅVΣN. The release is out on vinyl and digital June 5th and you can pre-order yours now on Bandcamp.

About:kaos - Strukture (Nocturnal Frequencies)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from About:kaos. “Strukture” is a huge work off the upcoming release, Vitruvian, out next week on Nocturnal Frequencies. Influenced by the hardest sounds of Berlin´s Techno scene, about:kaos merges different genres trying unique compositions and arrangement forms. This release is a perfect example of this. From throttling industrial disorder to striking soundscapes and tortuous atmospheres, this is a crushing release from the artist. Also known as Kaoslog, he views that project as the positive (+) side and all other projects as the negative (-) one.

Nocturnal Frequencies Black Series has done an outstanding job with their industrial techno selections and this entry is no different. Out May 30th and you can pre-order on Bandcamp.

The French artist is set to drop Istanbul, a new EP on Argentinian imprint Gomboc Records and today we premiere the title track which is a magical trip which nearly transports you to the Turkish metropolis while keeping the artist’s signature power and hard hitting prowess alive and well. With its hypnotic sounds and tension building atmospheres, “Istanbul” resonates loudly across continents. The EP also contains the original, “Talkshow Addiction” which is a more delicate yet still massive track which leaves its mark. Finally, the release rounds things off with a remix by TWAN which pushes the tempo to dance floor destruction and a rough, rugged industrial remix by Aneed.

Slave To Society - Path Of Self Destruction (PURE HATE)

The Brvtalist is proud to present five new videos to accompany the new EP from Slave To Society. Path Of Self Destruction launches Berlin’s PURE HATE imprint in style with a devastating release from Andrew Bowen (1/2 of AnD). We’ve been big fans of this project since its debut and this EP features four original tracks (plus a Perc remix) which provide the perfect blueprint for the label’s debut release. Expect industrial, bleeding edge, razor sharp, metallic, experimental, raw, stomping, broken beats and dramatic soundscapes throughout the EP, cementing everything Slave To Society and PURE HATE stand for.

To mark the occasion, the label presents five videos by ibex which obliterate the senses and capture the essence of these punishing tracks. Perhaps we could not ask for a more appropriate occasion for both Slave To Society and PURE HATE during these uncertain, chaotic times.

Path of Self Destruction is out now on 12” and digital formats. Pick yours up on Bandcamp.

Experiment Zero - "Black Money" (Black Lodge)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Experiment Zero. “Black Money” is acidic electronic mutations, seething from beneath the earth which comes off the new EP, The Non Assay Sound Of The Underground (Black Lodge). “Experiment Zero” was a primordial experiment rooted in the slam jack pits and DIY warehouse rituals of ages passed. A sonic dialog constructed of various languages, spanning from roots-house jack to bare-knuckled electro are revealed across the artifact - a revolutionary tale that surpasses the constructs of ephemerality, with a refusal to be ignored.

After further research it has been discovered that, Experiment Zero is the product of Dona, aka Dj Plant Texture and Mike Tansella Jr. of Son of Traders, both from the mercantile city of Bari in Southern Italy. Previous works from these artists have been featured on Unknown to Unknown, Illian Tapes, Gravitational Waves, and Creme Organization. All sonic experimentation was recorded in one take to capture the raw energy of instantaneous collaborative sound craft operating in flux. Black Lodge’s 4th release is sure to find a space in the music collections of those seeking to travel within the uncanny portals that unforgivingly defy the status quo.

Pick yours up from Clone in Europe and Bandcamp in the U.S.
