Konnektivitat - Lobotomy (Koma Recordings)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Konnektivitat. “Lobotomy” comes off the Immaterial EP and is a heavy, industrial work which goes straight to the head and affects all systems. A home-recording project of William Luzzi, Konnektivitat serves as a culmination of five years of isolation and deep study into sound design and composition for film at Fiesole School Of Music as well as the establishment of Koma Recordings, Luzzi’s own label to release his music. Immaterial sees four tracks of Luzzi’s technical prowess and powerful atmospheres which encapsulates the listener.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Security DJ - "Domestic Xs" (Raw Culture)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Security DJ. The Parisian artist and Rinse France resident returns after the success of "Fucking DJ", a collaboration with Sophia De Jong released on Raw Culture’s previous V/A comp. This time, the label dedicates two whole sides to his weirdness and it pays off as this is a rough and rugged release of twisted electronics and thought provoking themes which also includes a stellar remix by Cardopusher and vocals by label boss Asymmetrical. Today we present the haunted acid infestations of “Domestic Xs”, so sit back and get taken by this one.

Experiment Zero - "Black Money" (Black Lodge)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Experiment Zero. “Black Money” is acidic electronic mutations, seething from beneath the earth which comes off the new EP, The Non Assay Sound Of The Underground (Black Lodge). “Experiment Zero” was a primordial experiment rooted in the slam jack pits and DIY warehouse rituals of ages passed. A sonic dialog constructed of various languages, spanning from roots-house jack to bare-knuckled electro are revealed across the artifact - a revolutionary tale that surpasses the constructs of ephemerality, with a refusal to be ignored.

After further research it has been discovered that, Experiment Zero is the product of Dona, aka Dj Plant Texture and Mike Tansella Jr. of Son of Traders, both from the mercantile city of Bari in Southern Italy. Previous works from these artists have been featured on Unknown to Unknown, Illian Tapes, Gravitational Waves, and Creme Organization. All sonic experimentation was recorded in one take to capture the raw energy of instantaneous collaborative sound craft operating in flux. Black Lodge’s 4th release is sure to find a space in the music collections of those seeking to travel within the uncanny portals that unforgivingly defy the status quo.

Pick yours up from Clone in Europe and Bandcamp in the U.S.

Drvg Cvltvre - "Flies Eating Him Alive" Video Premiere

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from Drvg Cvlvture. The veteran producer and New York Haunted head delivers Cities in Dvst, a 4 track EP that also launches Portugal’s Flagelante imprint. “Flies Eating Him Alive” is the first track on the EP and kicks things off with an acidic plague of doom that slowly consumes all in its path. Created by Das Monstrvm, the video offers an up-close visual accompaniment of devouring insects. The remaining tracks on the EP represent a bleak reflection of current times, from the punishment of “Feed Souls To The Sentient Machine” to the global electro commentary of "One Man's Death is Another's Investment Opportunity", these are poignant tracks for the modern world.

Originally founded by Das Monstrvm and A Thousand Details, Nova Ordem Flagelante began with the creation a podcast and promotion of events to spread darkness to the world. As the current situation had taken a sour turn for gatherings, it has been decided that all rituals must be postponed. As such, the 2 evil popes have decided on the addition of Teragon to their ranks to decide how to solve this problem. This unholy trinity has decided that, to spread the sound of evil, it would be necessary a new record label and thus FLAGELANTE is born.

Cities in Dvst is out May 20th and you can pre-order yours at: https://flagelante.bandcamp.com/releases

New Brvtlaism No. 229 - Diamondstein as Pure Violence

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Diamondstein as Pure Violence. Diamondstein is an LA-based producer and performer primarily known for his monthly NTS show Night Shift, as well as his cinematic and melancholic releases through labels Dream Catalogue, Doom Trip, and others. His often eerie and experimental show Night Shift has been a mainstay on NTS since the first days of the station's Los Angeles presence and has featured guests ranging from Drew McDowall and Headless Horseman to Marie Davidson, Deafheaven, and Sacred Bones label head Caleb Braaten.

Unlike Diamondstein's traditionally pensive and atmospheric productions and mixes, his alias Pure Violence focusses on more brash, intense, industrial techno. His February Pure Violence mix for NTS was a Resident Advisor Mix of the Day. Titled The Pent-Up Energy Mix, we are thrilled to host this installment of sheer brvtality that builds tension from the start and quickly unleashes devastation.

The Brvtalist Premieres: LuLu - Wake Up It's Your Time (KTK Records)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Lulu. The emerging Parisian artist is inspired by old school rave sounds and more singular styles such as rap, dubstep and and rock. He now brings us, Interversion (KTK Records), a 3 track EP where his influences can be easily discerned. 'Wake Up It's Your Time' incorporates groovy but ghetto vocals, while the next two tracks bring us back to the roots of the rave sound. The EP is completed by a legendary remix by the timeless icon Mark EG, who became famous beyond the borders of Britain with his interest in so many different styles of electronic music. Lulu’s amalgamation of sounds quickly caught our attention and Interversion takes different genres outside the box to combine for a fresh and exciting release.

Out May 15th on digital formats. Visit https://ktkrecords.bandcamp.com/ to get yours.
