New Brvtalism No. 224 - Zariush

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Zariush. The Polish DJ, promoter and artistic manager of the legendary Projekt LAB in Poznan combines techno with industrial sounds, guitar riffs and EBM. For over 10 years, he has co-organized a countless amount of underground events in his hometown and his recent project VERZERRUNG (run together with MELANIA .) turns 3 years next month. The event series is probably the biggest regular show focusing on ebm / industrial techno sounds in Poland, bringing such acts as Phase Fatale, Terence Fixmer, Schwefelgelb, Sarin, Imperial Black Unit, Operant and yours truly among others. Besides Polish clubs and festivals, he’s appeared at Berlin's Suicide Circus, Urban Spree and Dimensions Festival in Croatia. New Brvtalism No. 224 is an exceptional mix which fuses together his different sounds and influences to create a powerful statement of music, culture, community and more.

Mala Herba - "Dawaj" Video Premiere

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new music video from Mala Herba. “Dawaj” gives a little taste of their upcoming vinyl debut on Aufname+Widergabe and the track, which is inspired by cold, hazy and mysterious landscapes of Eastern Europe, steers towards dark and industrial techno, merging darkwave and trance. However, the key elements of Mala Herba’s sound are still there: relentless bass lines, witchy vocals, and ghostly archival samples. Their music reimagines archives, in a hauntological manner. The video is a collage of the artist’s coded visuals and LdJ ghostly animated graphics, conjuring abstract, haunted landscapes. As usually, we were put under the spell of Mala Herba’s power, mystic sound.

You can pick up the single now at: https://malaherba.bandcamp.com/track/dawaj

Khazad V/A Vol. 1

The Brvtalist is proud to premiere two tracks from the first various artists compilation on Khazad Records. Today we present Samantha Togni’s “Sleet” and Balrog’s “Northern Steel”. Both selections exemplify the crushing, floor destroying works off this 22-track comp which also includes Brvtalist favorites OCD, Kaylah, Nanø Rinnegatø and more. We were instantly drawn to Togni’s high speed, mechanical madness and Balrog’s rolling, pulverizing rhythms which flatten everything in its path. This is a great introduction to the label and contains a full arsenal of weapons from the powerful European renaissance of industrialized techno and beyond.

Out April 9th on Khazad and you can pick yours up here: https://khazadrecords.bandcamp.com/album/khazad-records-various-artists-vol-01

Tapefeed - Boldfinger (Killawatt Remix) (Metempsychosis)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Tapefeed. The London-base duo returns to Metempsychosis for the EP, Ruled By Blondes, a personal protest to a historical and political time of injustice and disunity. An act of rebellion toward unfair governments and the dishonesty who leads them. The EP contains two originals and two powerful remixes, by Answer Code Request and Killawatt, which we present today. Killawatt’s hard hitting grooves and signature splintered sound build on the track’s already great message and mood. This is a strong release to help us rally and unite against our oppressors!

Out April 2nd, 2020 on Metempsychosis. Pick yours up at: https://metempsychosisrecords.bandcamp.com/
