The Brvtalist Premieres: Noform - "On The Brink"

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Russian artist Noform. “On The Brink” comes off the exceptional various artists compilation, The Legacy, out today on Bulgarian imprint DVNTT. This piece quickly caught my attention with its massive industrial textures and pulverizing rhythmic assault. The compilation also features stand out tracks from Tullia Benedicta, Dark Quadrant, Solarmental and label boss The Deviantt. Founded in 2016, DVNTT is not constrained by genre boundaries or any other borders. The label is interested in what is different and has put out great works by Restive Plaggonna, Nigh\T/mare and others. Expect a great array of sounds and genre bending selections which covers outsider techno, noise, industrial and other forms of experimental electronics. Pick this one up to satisfy all cravings.

Out today (December 9) on DVNTT. Order yours now on Bandcamp.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Auspex - "Imminent Domain"

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Auspex. A longtime fixture of New York’s underground techno and vibrant queer nightlife community, the DJ and producer has become known for his raucous sets and I have always been a fan of his dance floor destroying productions. “Imminent Domain” comes off the forthcoming Suspicion EP, a 5 track work which also launches the Brooklyn-based OATH imprint, a label which aims for the fusion of modern technology and arcane ritual. Inspired by a concept of dystopic secret society, OATH represents the paths we choose and the vows we keep. Suspicion is ominous ritual techno which will lure you in to its hypnotizing, sacred world.

Out December 19th. For more and to order visit: https://oathlabel.bandcamp.com/

Orden - 𝖆𝖑𝖕𝖍𝖆

Just in time for the cold fronts ahead, Basel-born, Berlin-based outfit Orden drops a new hoodie to keep you protected this winter season. As usual, Orden uses high quality materials, signature cuts and the 𝖆𝖑𝖕𝖍𝖆 hoodie is completely handmade. Adorned with the brand’s striking logo and drawstrings in orange, this piece is an eye catcher that doesn’t sacrifice function or comfort.

I was instantly drawn to the gritty, analog shoot as the photos perfectly convey the rugged yet refined nature of the piece. 𝖆𝖑𝖕𝖍𝖆 is a limited edition release with no second runs planned so definitely pick this up as soon as you can. The official release date is December 8th but if you’re in Basel this coming weekend, you can stop by Open Store for the official pre-release on December 7th and get yours first. This is a must have for the season. To order visit Bandcamp.

Jungstötter - To Be Someone Else (S S S S remix)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere S S S S’ remix of Jungstötter’s “To Be Someone Else”. One of independent music’s most buzzed about artists, Germany’s Jungstötter released his debut record LOVE IS (PIAS) this past Spring to various critical acclaim and fanfare alike. The record fuses a beautiful mix of romance, pop, post-punk and more and now we see Swiss multi-faceted producer S S S S craft a striking re-interpretation of one of the most powerful tracks on the release. A true journey, the track takes your through broken rhythms, moody atmospheres and beyond.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Mercury 200 - "Your Favorite Dystopia"

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Mercury 200. Since emerging from the shadows last year, the anonymous production duo and live act has been destroying speakers, headphones and dance floors with their terrorizing cosmic sound. Following their debut single on Berlin’s Ismus, the pair unleash their latest EP, Fundamental Relationship, on Geneva’s Bipolar Disorder.

Today we feature the high octane, frenzied work of “Your Favorite Dystopia”, one of our favorite cuts from the EP. The release contains another original work and two stellar remixes from Umwelt and UVB. We don’t know who these guys are but we do know we can’t wait for more productions. Out November 29th on vinyl and digital. Pre-order this one now from Bipolar Disorder HERE.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Starving Insect - "Charnel Winds"

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere track from Starving Insect. "Charnel Winds" is 85 bpm slow burning funereal techno which comes off the new EP, Charnel Winds that Brush the Pallid Stars, to be released on the new Traumatic subdivision Haunted. The EP features two deeply atmospheric tracks of cosmic terror, infused with doom-laden technoid sounds which reverberates down to the core. The B-side features more dancefloor friendly cuts with remixes by legendary doom duo Mental Fear Productions and Raw rave warrior 14Anger.

Lunacy - Age of Truth (Full Album Stream)

The Brvtalist is pleased to present an exclusive full album stream of the new release by Pennsylvania’s Lunacy. Since 2016, the artist has released a variety of music including 4 EPs and a compilation LP. However, Age of Truth represents his debut album and much like previous work, it is a powerful statement of ritual electronics, analog compositions and psychedelic experiences. Thematically, the album looks at the damage mankind is responsible for in the world around us and the mood reflects the guilt we all must carry.

Whether it be noise, shoegaze or hints of post-punk, Lunacy has crafted a diverse debut full length which blurs the genres lines and thrusts the listener into something both beautiful and heinous. Recommended for fans across the power electronics, industrial and punk genres.

Out November 22nd digital and 12” on the great Parisian label Third Coming Records. For more and to order visit: https://lunacy.bandcamp.com/album/age-of-truth-lp
