Antoni Maiovvi - Winter in Moscow

The Brvtalist is proud to present a live DJ set by Antoni Maiovvi. Spend your winter in Russia with this sultry mix by the Giallo Disco co-founder which was recorded on October 13, 2018 at an undisclosed warehouse location in Moscow. Special thanks to B.Ravers.

The artist has also shared a few words about his memories from the night:

Moscow was typically cold and I had some pretty great Russian dumplings beforehand and maybe a few too many vodkas so I slept in the hotel before the show. When I did arrive I was greeted by a pretty amazing, super futurist decor’d old warehouse club full of really good looking people. I drank scotch and two minutes before I was due on the power cut out. If anything it made it more dramatic when I started up. Good memories. Thanks to the team at B.Ravers. Mostly Giallo related plus some things I acquired on my last trip to Berlin. It certainly has some colour and shade to the whole thing, and I hope you enjoy this nice time capsule of a memory as much as I will in the future.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Sarf. “Extrapolation” is the title track off the new 12” out on Analog Section. The EP also contains massive remixes from Developer and Lag. We quickly fell victim to the hypnotic, inter-dimensional bliss of “Extrapolation” and the whole EP. Another great release from a strong label. HOMOAGENT - "Basque Britische Freundschaft" Video Premiere

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video from HOMOAGENT. The project of Spain’s Triames Ramirez and the U.K.’s Antoni Maoivvi, HOMOAGENT is vicious darkroom techno which acts as a soundtrack to one cop’s journey into underground S&M dungeons to catch a killer. Last year’s Rogue, Undercover was one of our favorite records and we are thrilled to see HOMOAGENT return to Instruments of Discipline with, We Are Here to Ruin Your Life, a new EP which further explores the city’s basements and dives even DEEPER into the underbelly of sin and excess. Fueled by Trve Basque Speed, greased up, gloved strangers pound you into submission. Featuring four tracks of punishing electronics that will leave you in agony, yet begging for more.

Today we present the video for “Basque Britische Freundschaft”, which depicts a filthy scene from a seedy basement where Xtreme pleasure coincides with Xtreme pain.

We Are Here To Ruin Your Life is out on digital and vinyl formats on November 22nd and pre-orders are available now via IOD. Also be sure to catch HOMOAGENT live in Berlin on the 22nd as well for THE BRVTALIST x INSTRUMENTS OF DISCIPLINE event at Ohm which also features War Scenes (*live), Unhuman, DreamCcore and The Brvtalist b2b Luna Vassarotti. It will be a night to remember. More info here.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Acronym w/ Korridor - Untitled

The Brvtalist is pleased to present a track from Acronym w/ Korridor. While this may not be the first time this track has been heard, it is an extremely rare collaboration from two of Sweden’s most celebrated producers which was only released in a limited (20) cassette back in 2015. Now, thanks to Germany’s VAAGNER label, the release finally gets a proper vinyl and digital release.

The collaboration between the two artists took place rather quietly and the three track cassette was self distributed at a show in Lithuania. Shortly after the tracks lore grew quickly, the cassette began trading on second hand outlets for staggering amounts and to this day it remains the duo’s only collaborative efforts. Today, we are pleased to offer the first track on the release, a massive 15 minute composition which is filled with rich textures, ambient sequences and dub techno arrangements. Most of all, it is an intimate look inside the creative minds of two of the most forward thinking artists today.

We are thrilled to see this release get a proper release and VAAGNER continues its impressive output, offering rare and unique releases from some of electronic music’s finest talents. The limited vinyl and digital will be released on November 30th and you can pre-order the record now over on Bandcamp.
