The Brvtalist Premieres: JK Flesh - "PI04.1"

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from JK Flesh. "PI04.1" comes off the legendary artist's new EP, PI04, out February 2nd on Pi Electronics. Justin K. Broadrick aka JK Flesh, needs little introduction after being at the forefront of industrial and electronic music for multiple decades. The last few years have seen some stellar releases under his JK Flesh moniker and this EP is perhaps one of the strongest. With three tracks (+ a Silent Servant Remix) of punishing, rhythmic cuts, expect everything from power electronics to techno for an experience that cannot be ignored. Definitely one to pick up. New Brvtalism No. 126 - Unconscious (*Live in London)

The Brvtalist is proud to present a live set from Unconscious. Recorded live on December 16, 2017 at KAOS London, the Italian producer crushes with his evil alchemy of EBM and techno. Also playing that night was New Brvtalism alumni Size Pier, Claus Fuss, Proteus and Choronzon. Another great event from the classic London party.

The producer is already off to a big year with a track on the upcoming EP on Oráculo, along with new material forthcoming on Area Z and Blacksilk. Definitely one to watch in 2018.

The Brvtalist Premieres: Oscar Mulero - "Edges of Mortality"

The Brvtalist is pleased to present a new track from Oscar Mulero. "Edges of Mortality" comes off the legendary artist's new extended EP, Acceptance, out January 18th on Semantica Records. Active since the mid 80's, Mulero has built a storied career unlike few others; from his DJ beginnings in Madrid to sets all over the world and releasing his own material on some of the finest labels, Mulero has been at the forefront of electronic music for decades. Much like his background, Acceptance is a complex release that beautifully connects the dots between techno, ambient and other electronic contemplations. "Edges of Mortality" is a meditative composition which reveals layers of emotions and powerful visions of the future.

Acceptance showcases Mulero's honed technique and progressive approach to his material. The EP's cerebral and rhythmic components make this a must listen. For more visit: Semantica.

A Tribute To Genesis Breyer P-Orridge

The work and influence of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge can never be overstated. From their industrial innovations with Throbbing Gristle to the acid soaked dreams of Psychic TV, their influence truly knows no bounds. When news broke last year that Gen was suffering from leukemia, artists, labels, fans and more from around the world showed their love with an outpour of support. Among the most vital is a compilation from Barcelona's Unknown Pleasures. The label has assembled a staggering number of contemporary artists to cover, remake and reinterpret classic tracks that have made such a big impact on us all.

Vol. I contains huge contributions from artists like Peaches, Esplendor Geometrico, Norma Loy, Le Chocolat Noir, The Horrorist and much more. Vol. II is just as impressive with more great offerings from Alexey Volkov, Endless Chasms and a whole host of others. Available on CD and digital, all proceeds from the sales will go directly to Gen to aid in her triumph over her leukemia. A truly important cause for an important artist. Previews and videos below.

New Brvtalism No. 125: Kaltès & Nene H.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Kaltès & Nene H. The Berlin-based artists are two of the most exciting to watch in the techno genre right now with Kaltès organizing Tresor's female:pressure-affiliated party series and Nene H. coming off her acclaimed Fountain of Fire performance at Berlin Atonal. To our delight, the two have come together to release the stellar new 12", Protest, out February 16th on Eotrax. This mix, titled "Personality Disorder", showcases the duo's wide range of eclectic sounds and cerebral prowess.

If you're in Berlin on January 25th, be sure to check out the Eotrax label night at Saule (Berghain) which features performances by Arad, Lair, Eomac and Kaltès. We are thrilled to have these two  contribute the first mix of the year as they are pushing the genre in a fresh direction with both their production and DJ sets. Definitely ones to watch in 2018 and beyond.

R A D K O + Monocorpse Video Premieres

One of our favorite labels returns with a great new batch of releases for Winter 2018. From hardcore acid to ritual electronics and more, you never quite know what to expect from Enfant Terrible but you can always count on quality output from both emerging and established artists. The latest group of records is a prime example and today we premiere two videos from from R A D K O and Monocorpse.

R A D K O - Cherno PPP

The Italian synth duo makes their debut on Enfant Terrible with the limited 7" of Cherno PPP/Brutalista. The two craft melancholy gems, infused with cold, dream-like waves that wash over you like the best shoegaze. We love the eclectic sound of the project and this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Video by Lissa Benno

Monocorpse - On The Other Side of the Mirror

The Dutch doom-techno artist returns to Gooiland Elektro for a new 12" titled "The Comfort Of Strangers". While known for his dance floor crushers, the new 12" sees a more cinematic approach that is very welcome and just as powerful.

Video by Monocorpse.

Also check out releases by Bebe Feng and The Untitled to round out another solid offering from the Dutch imprint. For more visit: www.enfant-terrible.nl

The Brvtalist Premieres: Eindkrak - "Semjon"

The Brvtalist is pleased to present a new track from Eindkrak. "Amsterdam's worst kept secret" returns with a long awaited debut LP titled Brullend Staal (Unknown Precept). Inspired by a night at a restaurant next to a car demolition site, the record oozes with crushed steel, acidic tones and the stench of old gasoline. A truly smashing work of post-industrial and distorted waves. "Semjon" is one of our favorite tracks on a very strong release all the way through. Out January 15th on the alway stellar Unknown Precept imprint.

Aktion Mutante - "Controllare il Sistema" Video Premiere

Like a shock to the system, now comes the new video from Aktion Mutante. "Controllare il Sistema" is the third track off the upcoming 12" on She Lost Kontrol and the rioutous video comes from the always stellar the29nov films. One of our favorite projects right now, Aktion Mutante's alchemy of splintered synth-punk, bloody EBM and haunting wave injects right into the veins and spreads quickly through the body. The duo of Violet Poison (Veleno Viola) and Unhuman (Liber Null) couldn't be more suited for each other and this is another great release from the Italian record label.

After meeting at Liber Null's Duality event in 2015, the two artists clicked immediately and were able to record some material in Italy during the winter of 2016. The result is this suburb 12" which is composed of six tracks and was mixed by Aconito Records, London and mastered by Andrea Merlini, Utrecht. The mini-LP is up for preorder now and you can get your copy at She Lost Kontrol.
