Looking out the window is just like looking in the mirror; Nondescript streets stretch out forever in various shades of white. There’s almost nothing.

Shiri Rosen is a singer-songwriter and teacher living and working in Tel Aviv, ‘LeAf Echad Lo Ichpat sheGart beBerlin’ is her first official release that marks her return after a prolonged creative hiatus and is the first of many. She is also represented by Reluctant Celebrity. Hailing from a small apartment in Southern Tel Aviv, Reluctant Celebrity started in 2020 as a mix series with the initial intention of evolving into an audiovisual platform releasing original music and singer-songwriter material, taken into and around the dance floor, channelled through the classic format of single + video. The mix series of the label are focusing on diverse ambient and experimental sounds, featuring such artists as Anna Haleta, Dina, Vex and others.

Today, The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a second release of the label from their own Shiri Rosen. “LeAf Echad Lo Ichpat sheGart beBerlin” (Hebrew for ‘Nobody cares you lived in Berlin’) comes off the 3-track digital album of the same name, featuring one original track and 2 powerhouse remixes from Ason Teva.

The music video was made by made in a DIY way, using the artists’ apartment in Tel Aviv, which with the combination of different colors creates Bohemian atmospheric moods, followed by trap-pop music and vocals accompaniment by Shiri herself. As the artist describes, this single was dedicated to broken dreams and a hope for redemption, to a creative struggle of any artist and the way of finding energy and inspiration to keep doing more.
