Soaked in layers of New Wave and post-punk, swathed by modern electronic sounds and experimental punk, PAAR have created a musical body consisting of beats and synths, refined with steady textures of guitar and bass, sanded with distinctive lyrics and vocals. Composed of Ly Nguyen (vocals), Rico Sperl (bass,synths), and Matthias Zimmermann (guitar), the band draws influence from artists such as Xmal Deutschland, Cocteau Twins and Siouxsie and the Banshees. They deliver now the exceptional album Die Notwendigkeit der Notwendigkeit, fusing genres such as post-punk, coldwave and darkwave, featuring 8 killer goth bangers that gets you going.
