The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a self-released debut track of Kyiv based DJ and electronic musician Dmytro Sydelnykov aka The Balanced. As the artist describes, The Balanced combines two opposites in one - dark and bright, joy and sadness, action and creation. The idea is about self-control and directing yourself only to where the soul calls, discovering new manifestations.

Creating music since 2011, Dmytros’ taste has been shaped by the different sounds of funk, jazz, soul, disco and old school hip-hop. Also, the producer finds his inspiration in the soundtracks of movies and video games, identifying himself with the characters of cinematic pieces.

In the last months, the artist has settled himself in old school Chicago house and Detroit techno, which significantly influenced his music taste while creating the composition “Egoxiety”, an energetic techno banger with an original authentic sound using synthesizers and drum machines of Chicago & Detroit eras, delivering nostalgic vinyl moods with a modern touch. Combining vocals with melodic elements from different music genres, this track immediately takes your mind and body to the void of the mystical cellars of underground realms. Also, it harmonically sounds on both high and low bpms, making you plunge into sweet dreams and joyful spiritual euphoria.

As the artist describes, “Egoxiety” is a newly created tool to perceive the world and yourself within it. It’s about the “right now” feeling, letting go, releasing your mind and being here and now.
