The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere the music video for "Captive" by Biproduct, a collaboration between producer Jason Tucker and visual artist Tyler Hallett. The duo abuse an array of analog and digital hardware to conjure a subversive industrial atmosphere, hard techno grooves, and avant-garde visual processing. Captive, their first single is a driving, raw, rhythmic noise techno track set to complementary dystopian visuals.
The track comes off the upcoming release on FAKTOR, a new audio-visual collective from Brooklyn, NY formed by long-time musicians, collaborators, and friends, David Castillo and AJ Annunziata. With FAKTOR, the duo aim to create a global network of up and coming artists engaged in the convergence of electronic and heavy music. Curated by Castillo and Designed by Annunziata, FAKTOR will be rolling out releases in aseasonal format through a steady diet of tracks, merch, visuals, remixes, editorial and parties.Their inaugural Winter 20/21 season will consist of singles from Biproduct, Annunziata, Confines and Octonomy. FAKTOR is a new place in the musical landscape where the hybrid is celebrated and community flourishes.
The release is out on December 4th on Bandcamp: https://faktormusic.bandcamp.com/
