The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix by Parisian duo Mas. The audiovisual project of Theo Fernandez and Samantha Corti, the two craft awe inspiring works that are both immersive and cinematic. Both sound and visual artists, they create scenarios painted by words, music, images and filmic memories.
Their recent collaboration with the Paris-based label Champ Libre provide them a space to stage the audiovisual stories they have envisioned. This meeting allows the duo to imagine a whole universe, both in terms of sound, images and scenography. The public of Champ Libre, demanding and receptive, encouraged them to go further in the writing of their performances. Each set is a new story.
We are thrilled to have Mas contribute to our series and New Brvtalism No. 090 is a true look inside the mind of the artist.
The duo's most recent performance at Champ Libre was captured and we've been enamored with its splendor since first view of this teaser. We very much look forward to more from this duo.
