The Brvtalist is pleased to present the premiere of a new video by one of our favorite artists. Nebraska's Plack Blague is no stranger to the site, having contributed a mix last year, and performed some of the best shows we've seen in L.A. Mixing elements of EBM, black metal, noise, leather culture and more, there is no artist quite like Plack Blague.
"The Touch" is a track off Trigger Warning: A Queer Compilation, a cassette out on Minneapolis-based Fuck Mtn. Ltd. Release. The bizarre follow up to 2014's "Boyz Club", "The Touch" sees the return of director Dustin Ferguson, also known for his underground horror hits Die, Sister Die! and Doll Killer. From the artist:
The Touch is a dark and voyeuristic submersion into the depths of heavy leather fetishism and sinister hessian occultism. Plack Blague exploits an exhibition of madness through the desire of lust and need. The Touch is Blague's third music video and second release filmed and directed in Lincoln, Nebraska by horror filmmaker, Dustin Ferguson. Much like Plack Blague's live performances, The Touch sucks the viewer into an eye awakening reality of bulging sweaty leather and pulsating Electronic Body Music. Leaving you in an aroused state of Blague and always wanting more, you'll be needing the touch of a man at any cost!
Serious work..The Touch invokes wasted burn out visions and haunting David Lynch madness. Wonderful no hope noise lure's you into a pummeling troublesome groove with a highly impassioned molestation dance. I can't wait to watch it again! -Dapose / The Faint
We think artist Butchdick Collection sums up the video perfectly when he says, ""Like Cruising meets Justify My Love!". Continuing in the Plack Blague tradition, "The Touch" is a gripping work that utilizes some of our favorite sound and visual elements. With new material on the way, we cannot wait to see what's next from "America's Leather Band". For more information and music please visit Facebook, Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
