Recently appointed Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere is a self proclaimed sci-fi enthusiast on top of designing the women's collections for one of the biggest high fashion labels in the world. The brand looks to meld these two together in the newly opened "Series 2" exhibit now on view in Los Angeles. There is no product for sale here, but rather an art installation of a total of 7 rooms each with their own distinct personality. The idea is to showcase the creative process and design inspiration for Vuitton's S/S 2015 line which premiered in Paris this past October. Expect a fully immersive visual and sound experience with dialogue inspired by David Lynch's "Dune" and a room of mirrors which displays the whole collection in seemingly infinite angles. This is the future of the brand, fashion and perhaps consumerism as well. To top things off, the whole experience is free and on view daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m at 1135 N. Highland Avenue, Los Angeles.
